Nevil Winterburn was really pleasant to deal with. He responded graciously to small things I was being fussy about, like a tap collar not flush with the wall or the height of a drain pipe over a walkway. He was also on the scene promptly to deal with a small problem that cropped up later. I don’t have experience with plumbers but his price seemed reasonable and the installation (flushing toilets from a rainwater tank) is working well.

I can highly recommend Nevil Winterburn of Plumbfix Cape Town. We had a very difficult to fix burst pipe under a paved driveway in our complex. A plumber from another company declined the job but Nevil was well prepared and on-time, he completed the work with great resourcefulness – even finding difficult to obtain parts at very short notice. The new section of underground piping that he replaced is now less likely to fail again thanks to Nevil’s workmanship and fitting better quality pipe and fixings for a very reasonable fee.

It is such a relief to work with a contractor that knows his trade and is always looking out for your needs – from planning to cost saving ideas. He will be our first call going forward. We have been doing major alterations and have been working with a wide variety of contractors, and if they could all have been as efficient as Nevil, it would have made it a very pleasant experience!
