Like other review. Paid for changes to the DB board, etc. They made changes but then made a mistake on the one CB. After struggling for 2weeks to get feedback where they initially responded, I am now being ignored. They still need to fix their mistake but as we already paid, they don’t bother responding anymore.

Work gets done eventually. Paid R32k for an inverter installation. Was a lot of work but rushed and not well finished. Inverter works but now I need to polyfilla all the holes in then the wall, wipe off the marks and repaint some areas

My girlfriends mother has been waiting for 2 months for them to come connect an electrical gate motor. Willem De Beer has been paid in full and all the parts are there waiting for him to connect it and everytime he says he will come through he does not. Keeps saying tomorrow but tomorrow never comes. Extremely unprofessional, zero attempt made from their side to let us know when exactly they will be coming through. My advice to anybody using this company, DO NOT PAY UP FRONT until the job has been completed. Disgusted by lack of service.

We first used Western Electrical and Plumbing in 2021 when we needed our DB board replaced. Willem De Beer was here in no time to inspect, install and complete the job. We were so impressed by him, we opted to use him again in May 2023 when we needed CoC’s for electrical and plumbing. Again, quick to come out, inspect and quote, that’s about as far as it went. Willem tells you every day that he will call you soon/come tomorrow, but tomorrow never seems to come. We were first told the supplier does not have the materials ready, other times we were told that work is incredibly busy, but he is guaranteed to come tomorrow. He never shows up or responds to messages. He has since gone quiet. We therefore got another company to do the job. Upon inspection, the new company noted that the DB was not installed correctly and that incorrect size wires and materials were used, therefore classifying it as an ‘unsafe installation’ . Their inspection also took over an hour, whereas Willems inspection took 20 minutes, which leads us to believe it wasn’t very thorough or accurate. Not only did this man waste two weeks of our time with his empty promises and lies, he also did not complete his previous the job correctly. We suspect he did not show up to complete the job due to this being a CoC request, therefore payment was not going to be done until after the transfer of the house was successful. Thank goodness we did not pay him anything. Please do not use this company for anything, no idea how he is still operating after all these years, with many similar negative reviews. Scam

Willem installed our solar and inverter system. A year later we have issues and there is simply no follow up service. I have been trying to get him to come out since the end of June 2024. It is now October and he has made numerous promises to come out, but nothing. I also discovered that the COC is not in his name – so he must be working under another registered electrician. This was also not disclosed. Quick to respond and do a big job, but the follow up service is terrible.
