I’ve used Garren’s services recently and I must say that I am very impressed and I am not easily impressed. He picked up some issues with the existing reticulation and saved me quite a headache which I would’ve had down the line due to the previous plumber’s workmanship. As an Interior Designer and contractor, I will definitely use him again.

Excellent service and workmanship. Will definitely recommend Garren for all your plumbing requirements as well as other handyman repairs. Garren is honest and very professional and takes pride in his job.

Excellent service, if you are in search for a plumber , and like me your house is in Cape town and you are not , Garren is trustworthy, reliable, honest and most importantly he did a fantastic job. Required several jobs done around my home in Cape town, not only did he fix a major leak in the shower but he also had to replace the tiles. He’s rates were extremely reasonable and he did an amazing job. Will recommend and will be using his services again.

I’m quite astonished at this company’s five-star rating. I’ve worked with about 10-12 tradesman, and this was hands-down the worst experience I’ve had so far. From start to finish, it was poor communication and a total lack of professionalism. Garren would only let me know that he’s not going to make our 16:00 appointment, at 16:30 (??). Surely, you know that you won’t be there at 16:00 if you haven’t left the previous premises by 15:30? So why only contact the client AFTER you failed to pitch? He claimed that he would be at the premises today by 10:00, and after I followed up multiple times, he pitched 1.5 hours late (he never indicated this new ETA to me, but just said “he’s running a little late, but he can’t say how much – maybe 30 or 40 minutes”). He then told me he’s “on his way” only to arrive another 40-50 minutes later. Then, to add fuel to the fire, after arriving this late and throwing my whole day out, he asks for an immediate payment at the call-out, whereafter, he starts messaging me multiple times and trying to call me within four minutes of leaving. How do you justify making a client wait 1.5 hours for a service promised, but wanting your money within four minutes of leaving the premises? I will never use an individual plumber or tradesman after an experience like this. In future, I will use a reputable company where there are policies and specific standards of service, and where there is accountability. Edit: You were aware that it is a rental apartment, and thus, that I do not live on the premises. Nobody “tricked you” – I reported what my tenant told me: that she suspects the leak was still an issue as she still had water pooling under the sink. You can hardly expect her to diagnose the issue. Additionally, you only asked for the video today after the time that you were supposed to arrive – not in advance to prepare, as you say in your response. You cannot blame me for not providing you with a video if you ask me for it 30 minutes before you arrive. None of what I said in my review accused you of not fixing our problem the first time – it was the poor communication and lack of professionalism that was my issue. I did say that I would pay you, and then you asked me what it would cost to do an immediate transfer. I said I would have to get back to you as I needed to check with my bank, and that’s when you started contacting me every few minutes before I even arrived home from the apartment. I never agreed to an immediate transfer on the spot. This is actually unusual practice for a service provider. Be that as it may, I wish you well.
